The cancelling of one of the better shows leads me to beg the question, what shows are you all watching these days, and why? We love our DVR, and have recently discovered NCIS. Not the new one, but the old one - with Mark Harmon. We've never been CSI fans, due in large part to the corny puns the writers feel are essential to the dialogue. NCIS has few if any such lameness.
Some in the Coffin clan have taken to "The Mentalist," but every stinking episode ends like Scooby Doo, IMO. "If it wasn't for those pesky kids...!"
LOST has been a favorite, but there was one season that just about lost me. This final season has had it's moments, so we're kinda stuck till the end.
What are you watching?
We watch a lot of food network ("chopped" is one of our favorites) We have seen a few shows of "modern family" ... We have limited/cheap cable otherwise I would add espn for football and soccer.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten into the food stuff, mostly because though I love to eat, I don't love to cook. I'll buy the food, but I'm grateful Jessica likes the "preparing" part.
ReplyDeletesteve and i are hulu people, so we're constrained by what's free on the internet :) we love house, community, and glee. those are the staples. also love how i met your mother and big bang theory... but both are cbs, which means they're not on hulu :( so we're slowly buying up the seasons when they're on sale.

ReplyDeletei looooove the biggest loser and matt just tolerates it. we do love the office though. and house. he may be a sarcastic jerk but he does solve the case and in a witty way. you guys may enjoy glee since you're such a musical family but it does have some inuendos that you may not like-i think it's hilarious and again, matt just tolerates it (barely). 30 rock is pretty hilarious as well-there are some really good one liners and awkward situations. matt really likes fringe which i don't cause it creeps me out a little too much ;) and we are HUGE hulu people as well-we've even streamed it to our tv. it's pretty amazing.
